Programs designed for the ambitious entrepreneur.
The Maine Center for Entrepreneurs (MCE) seeks to provide Maine entrepreneurs with the tools and resources needed to directly impact their rate of success. Through a combination of developing lasting business partnerships and acquiring strategic sponsorships from local and regional businesses, we’re able to bring a broad array of relevant programing, quality mentorship, world-class training and expertise to encourage sustainable, Maine-based entrepreneurship.
Whether you’re a startup founder looking to participate in the Top Gun Program, are an established food, beverage or agriculture company looking to participate in the Cultivator or Market Share Programs, are a bioscience entrepreneur looking to participate in the BioStartup Program, or you want to enhance your leadership skills with our Visionary Leadership Program, your odds of success will undoubtedly increase. We currently offer multiple ongoing entrepreneurial programs, along with several workshop series events which address the unique needs and challenges facing entrepreneurs and companies today.
Ongoing Programs
Our entrepreneurial programs require an unwavering level of commitment and ambition in order to achieve significant results. Each of our program attendees is required to undergo an intense application process, followed by an in-depth panel interview. We make the programs competitive not to deter entrepreneurs from applying, but to ensure we are providing our expertise and resources to those entrepreneurs who will stop at nothing to succeed.
Our programs provide participants with the following benefits, among many others:
Access to an Established Network
Over its 20-year history, Maine Center for Entrepreneurs (MCE) has accelerated the growth of hundreds of businesses, and established the MCE Maine Mentor Network of over 200 members.
Objective & Supportive Partners
MCE has formed strong partnerships with industry leaders, organizations and mentor networks to provide the necessary support, coaching and resources to help participating companies grow.
A Company-Driven Program
Each program is designed to bring entrepreneurs together in an open environment with opportunities to network, learn and share with one another.
